Services
LUNCH
The school has its own kitchen and all our menus have been selected and supervised by the school’s nutritionist in order to guarantee a balanced, nourishing diet. We also offer the possibility of personalising our meals to students with medical or religious needs.
The students are supervised by teachers in the school’s spacious dining room.
Parents receive a copy of the menu via the web site at the beginning of the month and have the opportunity to consult personally with our experts about any special requirements.
SCHOOL TRANSPORT
Our school offers the possibility of using a transport service to and from the school. The routes are from Gava, El Vendrell and Vilafranca de Penedes
The company contracted by ESCAAN runs a modern bus fleet, provides this service daily and each route is supervised by an adult.
MEDICAL SERVICE
Our school is equipped with a sick bay and a qualified nurse is resident in the centre during school hours. Our students are treated by the nurse and if necessary are taken to the nearest medical centre. Parents are informed in all cases.
The school has accident insurance with “Vitalicio” that covers medical needs in case of accidents during the school year.
LIBRARY
The Open Library is a space created to promote and stimulate our students’ educational, civic and cultural activities. It is open in the afternoon and after school for the school’s families and friends to enable them to participate in their children’s education.
START UP PROGRAMME
This is a programme developed by ESCAAN International School for children over 7 who start without any English. Small groups receive special classes to help their studies.
ELS PROGRAMME (English Language Support)
EDUCATIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ADVICE
The school’s Psychology and Education department prepares complementary programmes adapted to the students’ specific educational needs in order to reinforce their cognitive, social and emotional abilities.
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
The after-school Club programme offers students the chance to pursue their interests in a variety of activities, including tennis, swimming, theatre and much more.
A list of clubs will be made available at the beginning of each school year.
